Biddle - Dorothy Smith - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Dorothy L. Biddle, 86, died at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 20, 2000, in Sheridan Health Care Center. Mrs. Biddle had lived in Clinton, Hamilton, Howard and Tipton counties. She attended the Church of God in Sheridan and Boxley Methodist Church. She worked for Polson Cable many years. She was born Aug. 26, 1914, in Windfall to Arthur H. and Edith Tucker Smith. Her first marriage was to Lester WHICKER. She married Robert F. BIDDLE on Oct 3, 1945, and he died May 4, 1980. Surviving are two sons, Harold "Bob" WHICKER of Anderson and Richard WHICKLER of Fort Wayne; a stepson, Wilbur BIDDLE of Elwood; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Effa) GREENO of Pickard and Mrs. Glen (Rena) SEGAR of Belleview, Mich.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Shirley) KAY of Sheridan; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. A son, a stepson, a grandson and four brothers preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Leatherman-Morris=Boyer Funeral Home, Tipton, with the Rev. Mike Bullick officiating. Burial will be in Kempton Cemetery. Calling will be noon-2p.m. Saturday. - kbz
