Linden —Mrs. Mabel V. Bible, 70, a resident all her life of the Linden-New Richmond area, died Thursday afternoon en route to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette after collapsing from a heart ailment in a Lafayette doctor's office. She was born south of here Oct. 12, 1892, a daughter of Havilla and Marinda Belle McClamroach Vincent. She married Fred Bible Sept. 7, 1911. She was graduated from Linden High School. Mrs. Bible was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church and Linden OES and Women's Club. She was the first county president of Home Economics Clubs. She was a licensed real estate broker. Surviving besides the husband are a son, Richard Bible of Linden; a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Meyer of Urbana, Ill.; a sister, Margaret Vincent, and brother Paul Vincent, both of Crawfordsville, and four granddaughters. Funeral services are announced for 3 p. m. Saturday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville, where friends may call after 7 p. m. Friday. Rev. Willis Syphers of the Linden Methodist Church will officiate, and burial will be in the New Richmond Cemetery.
