Wallace, Ind--Charles A. Bever, 80, of Kingman Rt 1 died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 1978 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill. He had been a patient there one week. Bever, a retired farmer, was former owner of Yeddo Grain Company. He lived in the Wallace area all his life and was a 60 year member of Freedom Congregational Church. He also was a 50-year member of Wallace Masonic Lodge 495 and member of the Wallace Low 12 Club. He was born in Fountain County December 8, 1897 to Elijah and Mary Shoaf Bever. He married Lamoine Barker Nov 13, 1920. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters Mrs. Jack (Virginia) Starnes and Mrs Paul (Vivian) Goben; 7 grandchildern; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Freedom Congregational Christian Church, Wallace. The Rev. Goerge Huff will officiate and burial in Centennial Cemetery north of Kingman. Visitiation will be after 2 p.m. Monday in Thomas Funeral Home in Wayentown, where Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday. The family has asked that memoriasl be in the form of donations to the donor's favorite charity.- kz
