Alpha BEVER 63 a life long resident of the Hillsboro community was found dead in his repair shop near his home, two and one-half mile south of Hillsboro at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning. Heart trouble was thought to be the cause of his death. Mr. Bever had suffered several heart attacks during the past two years and apparently died from such an attack while alone in his repair shop. Mr. Bever was a farmer but operated the shop near his home during the time he was not busy farming. Upon finding her husband on the floor of the shop, Mrs. Bever called a physician who pronounced him dead. The deceased was born on a farm south of Hillsboro son of Levi and Elizabeth Harding Bever. He was married twice. His first wife was Orpha Hesler who preceded him in death several years ago. His second wife was Mrs. Agnes Britt. In addition to the widow, 3 daughters, Mrs. Mabel Pitman and Mrs. Marjorie Keller of Hillsboro and Miss Elizabeth Bever of Des Moines, Iowa survive. One step son, Wayne Britt resides in Gary. Five brothers and 3 sisters also survive: Albert; Henry; Walter and Levi of Hillsboro and John of Newport; Mrs. Mary Clodfelter of Oklahoma, Mrs. Charles Neal of Mellott and Mrs. EC Bunnell of Hillsboro.
