Source: Crawfordsville Daily Journal 26 July 1920
Everett Berryman received a telegram yesterday containing the sad news that his son, Oliver Berryman had been killed by a train in Bovina, Texas. The telegram gave no details concerning the young man's death. Mr. Berryman wired to the Texas city to have his son's remains shipped to Crawfordsville. Young Berryman was 19 years old and had been in Texas for about two years. He was engaged in farm work and it is understood that he was also taking an interest in the development of oil fields. The father of the unfortunate youth resides on the Spring Brook Farm owned by WA Moon, southwest of Yountsville - kbz
