Robert M. Bennett, 92, a resident here 48 years and a retired employee of R. R. Donnelley &Sons Co., died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in a hospital at North Ridge, Calif. He had resided the last two years with a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Andrew of Mission Hills, Calif. He was a member here of the First United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge. Mr. Bennett was a son of David and Canthy Milen Bennett and was born March 7, 1878 at Rileysburg, Ind. He spent the early part of his life in the Perrysville area. He was married in 1899 to Elizabeth May Dennis, who died in 1968. Surviving besides the daughter in California are a son, William C Bennett of Rt. 2; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. An infant son, two brothers and two sisters are de- ceased. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Louis Marsh officiating and burial in Hicks Cemetery at Perrysville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday. Masonic rites will be held there at 8 p.m. Saturday. -- typed by Chris M.
