Benham - George
PRATT, Hiram - Diary - see last couple of lines
Oct 13, 1866 : On last Wednesday (Nov 8) night when the boys met in town for a jubilee, they had a flag hung from a rope stretched across the street from Larkins’ Drugstore to the Fullenwider & Davis. While they were throwing turpentine balls one of them was the cause of it catching fire. Mr. Glover caught hold of the flag pulled it down. This pulled the stove chimney down from F&D’s store. One boy badly hurt, thought dangerous at the time. He died today from the effects. The brick hit him on top of the head – his name was George Benham.
