Waynetown - Wilmer Norris Bell, 85 of Rt 1, Waynetown died at 11:50 p.m. Monday in Culver Union Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was a pipe fitter and worked in construction. He sang and played gospel and country music on the guitar. His memberships included Waynetown Christian Church and Masonic Lodge and Low 12 Club. He was a graduate of Alamo HS. He was born Oct 15, 1907 near Waynetown to Addison and Phrana Livengood Bell. His first wife, Virginia Alderson, died in 1979. On Feb 6, 1982 he married Neva Lepper. She survives. Also surviving are one stepson, Lee Walden of Waynetown; two stepdaughters, Betty Ward of Indianapolis; and Ann Humiston of Mancos, Colo; two grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joann Dutcher in 1989, two brothers and one sister. Services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday in Cramer-SHoemaker Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Ed Maurer officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. - kbz
