Funeral services for Chester A. Beebe were held Saturday afternoon in the First Christian Church with Rev. Robert Funk and Rev. Paul E. Million officiating. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Clayton Ward, Gordon Ward, Oscar Servies, Marshall Sicks, Lawrence Himes and Ralph Himes. The pallbearers also carried the flowers. Services of the Crawfordsville Commandery of Knights Templar were given at the church by Raymond Kostanzer, Jr while services of Montgomery Lodge No 50 F&AM were given at the grave by GP Neal. Members of the Masonic orders and employees of the post office attended in a body. Selections were played on the organ by Mrs. Roy Trout. – kbz – thanks to JMN

Crawfordsville, Ind – a Headon collision of a car and a Pennsylvania railroad freight train near here Wednesday killed Chester A. Beebee, 49, a office clerk and injured his son James, 16.
