SHANNONDALE — Roy M. Beebe, a life resident and farmer of this community, died at 10 p. m. Saturday at his home south of Shannondale. He had been in failing health a year and a half, his condition becoming serious two months ago. The son of John C. and Caroline Mote Beebe, he was born in this county March 24, 1889. He was wed to Hazel R. Bowman on Oct. 15, 1914. Mr. Beebe was an active member of the New Ross Christian Church. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Massing of Indianapolis; a son Floyd C. of near Shannondale; four grandchildren, Robert Massing of Indianapolis, Mrs. Roberta Brown of Austin, Tex., Mrs. Linda Ramsey of Rt. 1, Thorntown, and Leanna Beebe of Rt. 2, Jamestown, and a great-grandson, Michael Massing. Three sisters and a grandson are deceased. Funeral services are at 2 p. m. Wednesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas A. Jeffries, with burial in Shannondale Cemetery.
