Samuel Beckner died at the home of John Best in Darlington last Sunday evening of stomach trouble. Funeral was Monday afternoon at East Christian Church, Elder Kelly officiating. Interment was at I. O. O. F. Cemetery.

Samuel Beckner, aged 50 years, died last Sunday of heart trouble at his home near Darlington, and was buried there on Monday, the funeral occurring from the Christian Church. Mr. Beckner’s wife died some five months ago. Mr. Beckner has long been proprietor of the grist mill just this side of Darlington on Sugar Creek.
