The majority of her life was spent in and around the same vicinity with the exception of two years which were spent in Tucson, Arizona trying to regain her health. She became a member of the Freedom Baptist Church in her early life and remained a faithful member until her passing. Maude attended Waveland High School with but one aim, that was to be a missionary, but her health failed while she was a Jr. in High School and was compelled to quit. Her health never permitted her to enter into the missionary work but she was ever cheerful and always thinking of others. She was united in marriage 8-21-1931 to Wave Beaman who survives. Other survivors include her loving mother, three sisters, Mrs. Roscoe Keller of Waynetown, Mrs. Forrest Martin of Rockville and Mary Hallett at home, one brother, Bert of Waveland, four nieces, seven nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
