Beam - Livonia

Mrs. Livonia M. Beam, 101, died Tuesday at Community Hospital in Indianapolis after falling and breaking a hip on Aug 29. She resided at 3420 N Emerson Ave, Indianapolis. She was born Nov 27, 1866 in northern Indiana. She married John Wright there and they had one son Mr. Wright preceded her in death. Mrs. Beam moved to Jennings County to live with her mother and brother. She then moved with her mother to Indianapolis where she married Cyrus Beam. He had four children and they had two more. Mr. Beam also preceded her in death. Mrs. Beam was a member of the Crawfordsville Church of Christ Scientist and the Mother Church of Boston. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Marguerita Hudson of Indianapolis; Mrs. Pearl Busenbark and mrs. Tula Quillin, both of Crawfordsville; four grandchildren 7 great grandchildren and a sister, Miss Emma Scotes of Indianapolis. Services will be held at Flanner 7 Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary in Indianapolis at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with graeside rites at noon Friday. - kbz
