BEADLE. Dawson - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

New Richmond, Feb 21 – Dawson Beadle, 67, well known farmer a half mile north of here dropped dead yesterday afternoon at 5 ‘’clock after he had sold a load of corn at the Furr & Cohee elevator here.  He fell from the truck he was driving and was found lifeless in the street by Earl Warren, station operator who summoned Coroner William Mount of Crawfordsville. The verdict was that Beadle died of heart failure.  He was born in Warren County and had lived in this vicinity all his life.  He was twice married, his widow being the former Mrs. Cora Heineman of Lafayette whom he married a year ago.  He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Withner of Danville, Ill and two sisters: Mrs. Hampton Black of Wingate and Mrs. Clara Fish of Newtown. The body was removed to the Coffing and Robinson Funeral Home, Attica.  It will be taken home at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning. The funeral will be held at the family home Thursday afternoon at 2:30, Rev AW Jackman officiating. Burial in Riverside cemetery, Attica.    ~~~Transcribed and Typed by kbz
