William Lee Beach, 33, a composing room employee of R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co., died unexpectedly Friday morning at his home, 110 Louise Ave. He had been ill with the flu. The resuscitator squad from the fire department made a futile attempt to revive him. A World War II veteran and member of Byron Cox Post of the American Legion, Mr. Beach was born July 28, 1926, at Linden the son of Everett J. Beach and Olive Snow Foster Beach. He married Katherine Todd in 1946. Mr. Beach was a graduate of the Linden High School with the Class of 1944. He had worked at Donnelleys since completing war service. Survivors include the widow; a son, William Michael Beach; two brothers, Raymond Jack Beach of Crawfordsville and Robert Newton Beach of Muncie, and the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett J. Beach of Linden. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bright Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Aude McKee of the Church of Christ will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday.
