Dora G. Bayless, 68, of 706 Spann Ave., who had worked at the Wilson shirt factory and Coppage Cleaners here, died Sunday evening in Culver Hospital. Mrs. Bayless had also worked for General Motors Corp. at Saginaw, Mich., and was assistant housekeeper at the Heart Hotel at Battle Creek, Mich. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church here. She was born at Ransom, Mich., on Oct. 22, 1905, a daughter of Joseph and Amanda Henry Brownell. She married Burland L. Bayless on July 20, 1946. At that time she and her husband began living here. He survives. Mrs. Bayless lived at Montpelier, Ohio, with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Henry, before coming here. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Mary Largent of Crawfordsville; four nieces, Mrs. Vickie Ann Sparks, Mrs. Carla Jo Hill, Mrs. Dianna Coonse and Miss Mary Ann Largent, all of Crawfordsville; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Burkhart Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Parritt officiating. Graveside rites will be given in Riverside Cemetery at Montpelier, Ohio at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call at the funeral home here after 2 p.m. Tuesday.--waw
