Bastion - Charles Wesley

Charles Wesley Bastion, 69 years old, died in St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette, .at 11:50 o’clock Christmas morning. The cause of his death was pneumonia, following a short illness. Mr. Bastion was born in New Richmond but had lived in Lafayette over forty years and where he had raised a family. He leaves a widow, six children and two stepchildren. He is survived also by one brother and two sisters, Garrett L. and Rose Bastion and Mrs. Martha Stumbaugh, all of New Richmond. The funeral occurred Sunday afternoon, with interment in Grandview cemetery.
