CRAWFORDSVILLE- John C. Bartholomew, 46, of 602 S. Green St., Crawfordsville, died at 5:22 pm Sunday in the emergency room at Culver Hospital, apparently of a heart attack. Mr. Bartholomew was laboratory information manager at the West Tenth Street Veterans Administration Medical Center in Indianapolis for 12 years. He graduated from Darlington High school and served in the Army from 1960 to 1962. He graduated from Indiana University in 1965 and from St. Louis University in 1972.
Mr. Bartholomew was a member of the Methodist Church. He was born Nov. 30, 1940, in Indianapolis. His marriage to Patricia Iremonger Feb. 16, 1961, was in Germany. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, William Bartholomew and David Bartholomew, both Purdue University students; a daughter, Laura Elmore of Seattle, Wash.; his mother, Josephine Bartholomew of Stockwell; and one brother, William Bartholomew of Lafayette.
