Barnhart - Susie

Miss Susie Barnhart was born March 12, 1875 and died August 20, 1895, aged 20 years, five months and eight days. She united with the Methodist church at Campbell's Chapel in 1892, and moving here she transferred her membership to Union. She had been a faithful Christian ever since she united with that church. She tried to make everyone cheerful and happy at home and abroad and was loved by everyone that knew her, Her funeral occurred last Wednesday at Otterbein at 2 p.m., conducted by Revs Stafford, Mclain and McDaniel. Interment at Masonic cemetery. She leaves a father and mother, two sisters and five brothers to mourn her death. The pallbearers were Miss Emma Taylor, Flora Hays, Lizzie Champion, Maggie Griest, Lena Weliever and Leva Hankins- thanks muches to Kim H

Miss Susie E. Barnhart, died at her home three and a half miles south of Crawfordsville, after a long illness of consumption, at the age of 20 years and five months. Her funeral was preached by Rev. Stafford and McDonald at her home Wednesday at 2 o'clock. Interment of Oak Hill. *Note: Her tombstone is at Masonic & cemetery records lists she is buried at Masonic. – thanks muches to Kim H
