Darlington Aug 15 - Funeral services for the late Solomon Barnhart were held here today, conducted by Rev. Mr. Lowell of Thorntown. Burial was made in Odd Fellow cemetery. Mr. Barnhart died Sunday at his home in Thorntown after an illness of 10 years at the age of 83 years. A complication of diseases caused death.
40 years ago Mr. Barnhart was in business in Darlington being proprietor of a dry goods store. Later he moved to Thorntown and has been in the livery business there for some time; he is survived by a widow, one son and one daughter. - kbz
