Waynetown- Thomas A. Barnett, 75 died at 6:03 a.m. Tuesday in his home at Waynetown. He had been ill 10 days suffering from pneumonia. Born Sept 3, 1882 in Waynetown, he was the son of James H. and Rebecca Carney Barnett. He was married to Minnie G. Switzer July 30, 1913 in Crawfordsville. Mr. Barnett lived at Wingate until 1913, when he and his wife moved to Waynetown. He owned and operated a restaurant until retirement in 1921. Survivors include the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Martha Poynter of near Waynetown, a sister, Mrs. Mattie Byers of Indianapolis; a nephew, Donald G. Byers of Indianapolis and a niece, Mrs. Louise Cornell of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Servies Funeral Home at Waynetown, Rev. John Cassiday will officiate. Interment in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.- kbz
