WAVELAND — Mrs. Martha Louise Barrett, 57, of 426 E. Michigan St., Indianapolis, died Friday afternoon in an Indianapolis nursing home. She had been in ill health for the past six months. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and had attended Waveland Schools and Butler University. Born Dec. 1, 1919, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of Edward F. and Myrtle Stewart Hodgkin. She was married to Dr. Arthur Barrett at Richmond. He survives. Also surviving are her father of Waveland; five sisters, Mrs. Robert (Rosemary) Jensen of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Moneyhun of Indianapolis, Mrs. Charles (Natalia) Garrison of Carbondale, Ill., Mrs. Donald (Patricia) Rogerson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. John (Joan) Otey of Santa Maria, Calif.; and five brothers, Eugene Hodgkin of Atlanta, Ga., Charles Hodgkin of Indianapolis, the Rev. Phillip Hodgkin of Richmond, Joe Hodgkin of Louisville, Ky., and Russell Hodgkin of Carmel. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home here with the Rev. Phillip Hodgkin officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.--waw
