Terre Haute, Ind., Aug. 9—Mrs. Sarah Ball, widow of Edward Ball, died Friday night, aged 80 years. She was the oldest resident of the city and had lived in the house where she died sixty years. She was the only survivor of the handful of settlers of Terre Haute who took refuge in Fort Harrison near here during the campaign against the Indians.
