Mrs. Daniel P. Baldwin, one of the oldest and most highly honored women of Logansport, died on Sunday morning in Chicago. She left her home in Logansport one week ago Monday and went to Chicago to submit to a surgical operation. The operation was performed on Wednesday and she rallied so nicely from the effects that it was believed she would recover. There was a relapse on Saturday, however, and she passed away early Sunday morning. The remains were taken to her old home in Logansport and the funeral was conducted there on Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Dr. George S. Burroughs, president of Wabash College, will officiate. - s
