Hillsboro - Dr. Edwin G. Baldwin, the husband of the former Dade Gerhart who is formerly of Mellott died Saturday night at Lakewood, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at Daniels Funeral Home in Lakewood.  The body will arrive in Hillsboro Tuesday for services at Crumley Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Waynetown Cemetery. - kbz

Edwin G. Baldwin, 85, a former West Lafayette resident died following a heart attack Saturday morning at Cleveland.  Word of his death was received by his sister-in-law, Mrs. Cuba F. Dutton, Shadeland.

Born at Mendon, Ill, he came to West Lafayette about 1918 and lived on Marstellar Street.  Baldwin who was a field agent in the Purdue Agricultural Extension service and was mainly concerned with bees, left here with his wife for residence at Lakewood, Ohio about 5 years ago. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Lakewood. Surviving besides the widow are two brothers, Walter and John Mendon, Ill and a sister, Sarah.
