Baker - Alice Masterson

Mrs. Alice (Masterson) Baker, 80, widow of John Baker, grocer at 26th and South streets for a number of years, died Friday morning at 11:30 o’clock at St. Anthony’s Home for the aged where she had been living for the past 10 months. Born in Darlington Dec 22, 1857 she married Mr. Baker in March 1903. She leave a stepson, Harry Baker, of this city; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Frank Jones, Boswell and Mrs. Harry Carson, Indianapolis and three brothers, John, Charles and Stowe Masterson all of Lafayette. She was a member of Grace UB Church. The body was removed to the Soller & Baker Funeral Home.
