WAYNETOWN, Ind. (CNS) - George O. Barker, 67, of Waynetown, died at 2 a.m. today (Aug. 12, 1970) at his home. He had been in ill health for several months. Born Feb. 2, 1903 at Romney, he was the son of Hiram and Martha Van Meeter Barker. He married Hollis Wilson of Waynetown on May 21, l927. Mr. Barker was a member of the United Methodist Church at Romney. He was a sales representative for the Boldt Milling Co. in Waynetown for the past 25 years. Surviving are his widow; two sons, George W. and James L. both of Waynetown; a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Kay Thomas of Chesterton; a sister, Mrs. Mary Branstetter of Fairbury, Ill.; a brother, Frank Barker of Romney; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Saturday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Myron Hinton officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. - jlr
