Word has been received here that Mrs. Pearl Foster Banta of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada passed away Saturday April 14. Claude Banta, her husband preceded her in death Oct 18, 1948. Pearl was raised in Waveland, the daughter of Timothy Foster who worked for many years in the saw mill here owned & operated by AJ Wolf. She left Indiana with her husband and his father and brothers for Alberta about 1909. Mrs. Banta's husband was a brother to Mrs. Lulu Smith of Waveland and Mrs. Frona Oliver of Judson and Maude Clore of Marshall. - kbz
