Wingate, Sept 12 -- Joseph BANNON, 66, a former resident of this place passed away at his home near Attica Saturday morning at 2 after a two years illness with carcinoma. The deceased was born in Parke Co, the son of James and Elizabeth Bannon. He was first married to Sarah Morrow, later to Stella Linson. He was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving are the widow and 14 children: four brothers, William of Springfield, Ill; Charles of Indianapolis; Baker of Terre Haute and Lewis, of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. MO Jackson of Wingate; Glenna Holle, New Buffalo, Michigan and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Wingate Christian Church Monday afternoon at 2 with burial in Wingate Cemetery. - kbz
