Waynetown - David Bannon, 72, prominent resident of this vicinity, died at his home in Waynetown at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, a victim of complications. Mr. Bannon had been in declining health the past 4 years and had been seriously ill for 3 weeks. He was born near Waynetown on July 4, 1856 the son of Jeremiah and Maria Ridge Bannon. 41 years at he married Eliza A. Bunnell. Mr. Bannon who spent his entire life in Parke and Montgomery Counties, was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife and one son, Clarence E. Bannon of Crawfordsville. The funeral will be held from the Waynetown Baptist Churcch at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Cletus Brown in charge. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
