Clarence E. (Pete) Bannon, 66, a barber for several years died at 5:20 pm. Tuesday at Culver Hospital. He had been a patient there for the past 10 days. Born in Waynetown on April 16, 1889, he was the son of David and Eliza Bunnell Bannon. On April 15, 1908, he married Stella Keys. He was a member of the Waynetown Methodist Church and of the local Eagles lodge. He is survived by the widow and several cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 pm. at Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Guy Tremaine officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
