News of a peculiar death comes from two miles south of the Wesley neighborhood. Sunday evening Ben Ball, a man of about 35 years of age, and who had been in his usual health, was suddenly attacked with a severe headache. It rapidly grew worse and after a couple of hours a messenger was dispatched to Waynetown for Dr. Hamilton. Dr. Hamilton hastened to the bedside of the sufferer only to find him drawing his last breath. His sufferings had been awful and it is supposed that the brain was congested causing death The deceased was a man of family and of excellent standing in the community. - thanks to Kim H
