LAFAYETTE – Jacob Stow Bailey, 95, father of a New Richmond resident, died Monday at Home Hospital in Lafayette. He had been a patient there since July 31 and formerly resided for two years at the Ross Annex. Mr. Bailey was born March 30, 1868, son of Thomas O. and Eurania Weatherbee Bailey. He was married in 1897, to Clara M. Mikels of Romney. She died in 1943. Survivors include a son, Thomas M. Bailey of New Richmond; a daughter. Mrs. Raymond Kochel, Lafayette; a brother, T. Eugene Bailey, Lafayette; nine grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren Funeral services were held Wednesday in Lafayette. Burial was in Sugar Grove Cemetery. – jlr
