The death of Mrs. Thompson Ashby age 90 years widow of the late Thompson Ashby, occurred this morning at 7:30 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Foster in Ladoga. Mrs. Ashby was a former Putnam County resident and has many relatives in the county. She was a sister of the late Andrew Lockridge and late Robert Lockridge. The funeral will be Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in Ladoga. - kbz

Ladoga - Sept 11 - Mrs. Thompson Ashby, 90 years old is dead of the infirmities of old age. She came to Indiana from Kentuycky with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lockbridge and spent the remainder of her life in and near Ladoga. She is survived by three children, Robert L Ashby; William Ashby and Mrs. James Foster. - kbz
