Ashby, Mary - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Death has again entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Ashby, of Ladoga, this time to claim their estimable daughter, Siggie. On Aug. 16 another daughter, Mary, succumbed to the same disease. Siggie was a bright intelligent girl of eighteen and had-the respect of all who knew her. The funeral services occurred last Friday at the Presbyterian Church, Rev. Fox officiating. -s

Mary, the twelve year old daughter of Wm Ashby, died Friday after a sickness of about three weeks, and was buried Saturday in the Ladoga Cemetery. Little Mary was a child of a quiet disposition and loved by all who knew her. The family has the sympathy of all. = s
