Mrs. Mollie Tilda Arndt, widow of Fred Arndt, died Saturday morning at 3:30 o’clock at her home in Stockwell after an illness of 10 days with heart trouble. Born in Pulaski County, Ind, Sept 22, 1860 she was the daughter of Fred and Rena Cain. On Nov 15, 1881 she was married to Mr. Arndt and since that time had lived in the Stockwell vicinity. Mr. Arndt died 3 years ago. Three sons, Henry Arndt of Lafayette; and August Arndt of Lafayette Rt 12 and Noah Arndt of Stockwell and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Dieterle and Mrs. Goldie Barnaby both of Lafayette Rt 12 survive. Mrs. Arndt was a member of the Methodist Church. The body was removed to the Baker funeral parlors in Dayton and will be returned to the family residence in Stockwell Sunday when friends may call after 2 o’clock Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Stockwell Methodist Church with Rev.
