STOCKWELL- Everett William Arndt, 50, well-known farmer, died suddenly early Saturday in his home a half-mile east of here as he was preparing to go to bed. The victim of a heart attack, Mr. Arndt died at 1 am. The family reported that he had not been ill before the attack. A member of the Methodist Church in Stockwell, Mr. Arndt had served as lay leader for several years and was a Sunday School teacher. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau. Mr. Arndt was born near Linden in Montgomery County and was married to Ruth Carolyn Moor in 1939 at Lyons. Surviving with the widow are two children, Virginia, of Lafayette, and Dean, at home; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. William Arndt - of Stockwell; one brother, Elbert, Bradenton, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Delpha Allen, of Ossian and Mrs. Violet Bravender of Lansing, Mich.

Funeral notice --ARNDT, Everett W.- Friends may call after 2 pm Monday at Dickerson Funeral Home, Stockwell.
Services there 2 pm Tuesday with the Rev. Clyde Wake officiating; interment in Stockwell Cemetery.
