James M. Armstrong, 72 years old, service representative for the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York the last six years, died yesterday in his home, 1508 North New Jersey street, following a prolonged illness. Although Mr. Armstrong had been confined only for brief periods, he had suffered heart disease several years. He was born in Crawfordsville, January 11, 1862. He resided in various cities until seventeen years ago, when he went to Kokomo, where he lived until six years ago when he came to Indianapolis. He had been associated with the Mutual Life Insurance Company for twenty years. He was a Mason, a member of the Shrine, a member of the Raper commandery and the Third Christian Church.
The widow, Mrs. Louise M. Armstrong, and a half-brother, C. Morton Keys of Danville, are the only immediate survivors. Funeral services will be held at the Third Christian Church at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery. – thanks to Kim H
