Armstrong - Elton

Elton Armstrong, age sixty-six, 2253 North Illinois street, drank poison, while his daughter and her husband were attending church services Sunday. They found him dead in bed on their return. The daughter, Mrs. Elmer Long, said he had been despondent and had threatened several times to end his life. The funeral will be held in the Royster & Askin funeral home. Survivors are the widow and another daughter, Mrs. Sophia Caplinger, New Market. – thanks to Kim H
