Waynetown, May 8 - Frederick F. Armantrout, 47, former resident of th is place, succumbed suddenly at noon Sunday at his home, 6170 Cornell avenue, Indianapolis of a heart attack. Mr. Armantrout left here 16 years ago and was employed as a foreman with an Indianapolis manufacturing company. He was a WW veteran having enlisted June 27, 1917 and after overseas service was honorable discharged April 20, 1919. He belonged to the American Legion at Indianapolis. Born near Waynetown March 30, 1890, Mr. Armantrout was a son of Leroy and Louisa Moore Armantrout. 20 years ago he married Lena Bruner, who survives. The former resident was a member of the Broad RIpple Christian Church. Besides the widow, twin daughters, Helen and Helena 16 a son Joseph 14 and two brothers, Galen Armantrout, Indianapolis and Fred (Jesse) Armantrout, Lafayette, survives. The body was taken to the Royster and Askin Mortuary on North Meridian Street, Indianapolis where short services will be held at one o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The remains will then be brought to Waynetown where additional rites will be conducted at the Baptist Church at 3 p.m. in charge oF Rev. Clark, Indianapolis. Interment will be made at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
