Guy "Andy" Anderson, 79 of 506 Whitlock Ave died Tuesday morning in Culver Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Anderson retired in 1958 after 30 years of service to the Farm Bureau. A veteran of WWI, he was a member of the Crawfordsville American Legion. Prior to living in Crawfordsville he was a resident of Indianapolis. Born Nov 1, 1892 in Vevay he was married May 9, 1957 (37?) in Crawfordsville to Jessie Esra Payne. Survivors include the widow; a brother, Arnold of Southport; two sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Anderson and Mrs. Mildred Farrell of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bright & Burkhart Funeral Home. Burial will be inn Bright & Burkhart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm. Wednesday.
