Tomorrow afternoon the two soldiers, John Simpson and A. O. Anderson, who died last night, will be interred at the Masonic Cemetery, side by side. The G. A. R. will have charge of the services, and all members of this organization are requested to meet at Post headquarters at 4 o’clock tomorrow afternoon.

Anderson O. Anderson died last night at the poor house. He enlisted in Co. F, 15th regiment on April 1, 1865 and was discharged on Aug. 4, 1865. Burial was this afternoon. This morning Johnny Simpson was found dead in bed at the home of Mrs. Marley, where he resided. He is subject to fits and it is evident that while in one of these spells he turned over on his face and smothered to death. He enlisted in Co. I, 51st Indiana, on Sept. 6, 1862 and was discharged on June 14, 1865. He has no near relatives residing near this place.

A.O. Anderson died this morning at 3 o’clock at the county farm where he had been suffering from a severe attack of inflammation of stomach and other chronic diseases contracted in the late war. He served with many other comrades from Thorntown in Co. F, 154th regiment. Oscarf, as he was commonly called, was a good soldier, and at one time a good business man of Boone County. His age was about 55 years. He leaves a son, Allie, of Indianapolis, and two daughters, Meda of Colfax, and Eula, of this city, who follow his remains to the grave in the Masonic Cemetery Sunday at 10 a.m.
