MELLOTTâMrs. Cecil (June) Austin, mother of a Mellott minister, died at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday at the Whitley County Memorial Hospital at Columbia City, Ind., following a lingering illness. Mrs. Austin, 55, was the mother of Rev. Richard A. Austin, pastor of the Mellott United Church of Christ. She was a resident of South Whitley community located a few miles west of Columbia City. Other survivors include the husband, three other sons, Larry and David of Fort Wayne and Paul Stephen, who is serving aboard the destroyer, USS Cone based at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; a daughter, Mrs. Patrick Murray of Fort Wayne; four sisters, two brothers and three grandchildren. Services are pending at Striggler Funeral Home at South Whitley.--waw
