Zora Bell Arnold Services Conducted- Funeral services for Mrs. Zora Belle Arnold were held Thursday afternoon at the Bright Funeral Home. Rev. Charles E. Roberts, pastor of the Bethel AME Church, officiated. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the floral tributes were John Whitney, Clint Patterson, H. R. Williams, Murray Burdett, Leslie Dean and Russell Anderson. Miss Blanche Patterson played organ selections. Requested selections played were “A Closer Walk With Thee,” “Just A Goin’ Over Jordan,” and “Precious Lord Take My Hand.” Burial was in Masonic Cemetery. The Household of Ruth No. 409 held their services Wednesday night at the Bright Funeral Home. Miss Leona Mitchell was in charge. Others taking part were Miss Frances Wooden, Miss Lottie Norvell, Mrs. Lora Kennedy, Mrs. Rose Jones, Mrs. John Robinson and Mrs. Leslie Dean. Mrs. Arnold, 75, died Tuesday morning at Culver Hospital. She had been a resident of Crawfordsville since she was a young girl, coming from Memphis, Tenn. - kbz
