WAYNETOWN – Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Servies-Thomas Funeral Home here for William Lawrence Arnold, 61, of Waynetown, who died Saturday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. The Rev. Charlotte HoTopp Zachary will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Crawfordsville with graveside services conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Friends may call at the funeral home. Mr. Arnold had been employed at R. R. Donnelley & Sons for 22 years at Crawfordsville. He was a veteran of World War II. He served with an engineering unit in Iceland and England. He was a member of Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church, VFW and American Legion. Born June 19, 1914, in Kansas, he was a son of John and Martha Kennon Arnold. He married Kathryn E. VanCleave of Crawfordsville on Jan. 8, 1944. She survives. He is also survived by 12 brothers and sisters, none of whom reside in this area; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Harold VanCleave of New Market; and three brothers-in-law, Robert VanCleave of Crawfordsville, Donald VanCleave of near Waveland, and Charles David VanCleave of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville. – jlr
