Funeral services for Warder A. Arnold, 80, of 1006 E. Jefferson Street, retired Mid-States Steel & Wire Co employee who died Monday in Culver Hospital, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Burkhart Funeral Home. The Rev. Charlotte HoTopp will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Arnold, who retired from Mid-States in 1958 after 41 years with the firm, was a native of Salem, born April 1, 1893 to Charles Henry and Amanda C. Winger Arnold. He was married Jan 1, 1938 to Helen M. Martin, who survives. He was a WWI veteran and member of Fremont Baptist Church and Eagles Lodge. - kbz
