Florence A. ARNOLD, 78, 405 Tinley Ave, a native of Darlington died Tuesday morning at Culver Hospital after being seriously ill for a week. She was born Dec 3, 1883 in Darlington and her parents were John and Julia Peterson Marsh. She married Clinton Arnold on Dec 3, 1902. He died several years ago. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star in Kokomo and Lily Temple of the Pythian Sister. She is survived by a son, Dr. Carl B. Parker of Wingate; two grandchildren, Dr. John C. Parker of Goodland and Mrs. Donal M. Cowan of Wingate; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m . Thursday in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Darlington IOOF [Independent Order of Odd Fellows] Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Wednesday. The family has requested donations to the Cancer Fund in lieu of flowers. - kbz
