Charles Henry ARNOLD

C. Henry Arnold, 76, died Saturday afternoon at Johnson Nursing Home where he had been a patient a short time. He had been in failing health about two years. Arnold had made his home with a son, Warder Arnold, 1006 E. Jefferson Street. Born in Washington County, he was the son of John and Sarah Goldsmith Arnold. He married Amanda C. Wingler in 1892 who preceded him in death about 8 years ago. He moved to Crawfordsville about 30 years ago. In 1945 he remarried and his widow survives. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Nannie newby of Fredericksburg and Mrs. Vannice Pruett and Mrs. Ella Morris, both of Mitchell and four brothers, James Arnold and Robert Arnold, both of Fredericksburg and Benjamin Arnold and Edward Arnold, both of Mitchell, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Utterback & Bright Funeral Home, Rev. Paul Million pastor of the First Christian Church officaiting. Burial in the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery. - kbz
