Mrs. Amanda C. Arnold, resident of this city for the past 22 years died at her home, 1006 E. Jefferson Street, Saturday morning at 6 o'clock. Death caused by a heart attack. Mrs. Arnold was born on Aug 7, 1873 at Salem, Ind, daughter of William and Catherine Napper Wingler and on March 12, 1892 was married to Charles H. Arnold of Salem. She was a member of the Salem Christian Church. A daughter and two sons preceded Mrs. Arnold in death. She is survived by her husband, one son, Warder Arnold of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Calvin Wingler of near Salem and Walter Winger of Galveston, TX and one sister, Mrs. Annie Spurgeon, Salem, Ind. The funeral will be held from Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. - kbz

Funeral services for Amanda C. Arnold were held at Proffit & Sons Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Paul Million. Mrs. Walter Moyer and Mrs. Paul Radord sang, "Good Night & Good Morningand Rock of Ages accompanied by Miss Iva Reynolds at the pipe organ. Pallbearers were Ray Everson, Harry Mason, Owen Kincaid, Warren Pennington, Curtis Wright and Bill Searing. Burial was made in Oak Hill Cemetery. - kbz
