Funeral services for Olin ARMSTRONG, 69, a native of Mace, have been held in the Methodist Church in Everat, Michigan where he lived several years. He was born July 9, 1894, in Mace and his parents were Charles and Accita (sic) Armstrong. He was a veteran of WWI and had a long career as an auctioneer. He served as deputy sheriff in Michigan and also worked for the Sun Oil Company. For the past four years he had been employed as substitute mail carrier at the Everat Post Office. Survivors include his wife, the former Sela Kienitz of Reed City, Michigan; a brother, Manson Armstrong,of Flint, Michigan; a sister, Mrs. Lois Smith of South Bend, and several cousins in Montgomery County. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Everat.
